I think one of the most impactful features that Aloha has is a two-way texting. That's been great for us. It makes it so simple to move patients around the schedule. Patients love that easy communication that doesn't require them to pick up the phone and call us. Just sending us a text, we can accommodate them and be much more flexible. The increase in reviews was also significant for our practice. Within a couple of months, we probably doubled our reviews and that's helped our practice grow tremendously.
Prior to Aloha, we didn't have any way to communicate with our patients through texting. Everything had to be a phone call. That was extremely time-consuming, especially for me when I first opened up and I was working just by myself. I would see a patient, miss a phone call, and have to call them back. So, the two-way texting has been a game-changer for us. As far as reviews go, we used to just have a QR code. We would ask people to leave us a review; it just felt really invasive and almost forced. It's super pleasant to just wake up in the morning and see that we've got a new review from a patient and we never had to ask them or have that conversation. Aloha just did it for us.
I want to say we were open for about a year before we started with Aloha. In that first year of being open, we probably had maybe 40 reviews. Then within the first three months of using Aloha, I want to say we were up to about 90. Now, at two and a half years in, we're up to 140. So it's exponentially increased our reviews, which helps with our Google ranking and our credibility. We have new patients that come in and tell us that they looked through our reviews and how great they were, and that encouraged them to seek help at our office.
